Do you offer any discounts?
Yes - we are happy to offer a discount to non-profit organizations.
What does 'Design with a Social Conscience' mean?
The guiding priciple behind Global Village Web is to uphold the values of being a good corporate citizen. To us that means contributing to worthwhile organizations in our community and beyond, educating where possible and above all else trying to practice what we speak about. For example, our computers and web servers are powered with Green Energy and we only use recycled toner cartridges and paper.
What if I want money donated to a charity of my choosing?
No problem. While we have selected several charities to work with it is impossible to identify each worthy organization that holds personal appeal to you - we always welcome our clients telling us whom they would like us to support. You can learn more about which charities we donate to in our Giving Back section.
Why do you have designs from another web design company in your portfolio?
Global Village Web is a new company, but that doesn't mean that the staff are inexperienced. In order to showcase that we are prepared to meet all of your web development needs we have added a select few designs that were done by our lead designer while he worked at another company. These additions to our portfolio are only for the short-term as our clientèle is growing already and we will be putting those designs in the portfolio as they are completed.
